United to the U.S since they were children

United States is maybe the biggest country formed by immigrants. Immigrants form a significant role in U.S history, but they weren’t important for the government until the president Obama established the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). Although, this new law only protected young undocumented people, it was a fantastic opportunity for them. However, now with our new President that protection has change, since he decided to end this program. I strongly believe that, DACA should continue to be a protection law for young immigrants, since they have demonstrated that are committed to the country and produce more for our society.
United States has been a place for opportunity for a lot of people from other countries, they know that the U.S is where dreams come true. Immigrants come to the U.S because they want to provide a superior quality life to their families, and an opportunity to their children to become someone with a better life. Immigrants that were brought to the U.S since they were children don’t know another country, but U.S that has become those kids home. Those children were raised in the U.S as American citizens, but they don’t have the same rights as an actual U.S citizen. DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals), was the opportunity for many of these young immigrants to have the same rights as everyone else in this country, and to don’t be afraid for deportation for the only country they have ever known. “DACA boosts our economy, especially in states with high percentages of immigrants such as California, Arizona and Texas. Dreamers pay taxes. Nearly 55 percent of them have bought cars. Some 12 percent have bought homes, and 6 percent have launched businesses that create jobs for U.S. citizens. They provide a direct economic benefit to our communities and the nation as a whole” (Napolitano, 2017).

DACA was a wonderful opportunity for young immigrants and for the country because immigrants have probe to embrace more the opportunities that the country has to offer. If President Donald Trump continues with this program it would be bifacial for the country, “I can see the exceptional contributions that young dreamers make to our country. Most are the first in their families to attend college, and they work hard to further their educations. Some are pursuing PhDs and have ambitious, humanitarian goals, such as working to cure cancer. They represent the very best of our country. They embody the spirit of the American dream.” (Napolitano, 2017).
Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), should be continued by the new president Trump because they are a benefit for the United States. The U.S is built by immigrants in its majority, as a society we cannot let this program to finish, young immigrants benefit from this program which is not bad, knowing that they grow up in our country, and they want to contribute by working, living, and producing money for the country. They cannot do that if they are threaten by being deported from the only country they have known. Deportation is not the solution for immigrants’ problems or for government problems. If we want to make America great again, we need to start by helping our society.
