United Nations is the world’s largest inter-governmental organization established on October 24, 1945. Its four main purposes are to maintain international peace and security, develop friendly relations among nations, achieve international cooperation in solving international problems and be a center for harmonizing the actions of nations in the attainment of these common ends. To honor the establishment of this organization, there should be the observance of the celebration of 73rd founding anniversary of United Nations.
In this regard, the Kapisanan ng mga Mag-aaral ng Araling Panlipunan (KMAP) organized the Mr. and Miss United Nations 2018: Preliminary and Final Showdown on November 5, 2018 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at PSU Convention Hall Lingayen, Pangasinan.The preliminary competition started at 9:00 am as the 22 male and female contenders were being interviewed.
