Although the information published across different newspapers is mostly the same, the message being conveyed by the media to the society differs according to the geographical location and the society’s culture. This leads to media bias which sometimes is utilised to change people’s sentiments. News is supposed to be neutral, meaning that all the information provided is to be represented objectively. When the representation is not neutral, there is bias involved. The New York Times and The Guardian are the world’s largest widely read English language business newspapers.
