The main objectives in a team include mutual respect, being there for one another, caring and being capable of working with the team itself. The main purpose for these objectives are to reinforce everyone getting along together and genuinely liking each other. Another objective includes giving the students a safe environment to work and learn in as well as ensuring they are able to reach their full potential whilst being in this setting. For example, giving some students challenges if they’re understanding the work to a good level to boost their knowledge.
A reward scheme is also used to reward good behaviour and to discipline the bad. For example, in placement a ‘golden tree’ is used and going down the tree has consequences such as missing a break time whilst going up the tree has rewards such as being the first to break or having a letter sent home.
