Social media is the way of how you may look at it. Social media has become part of our lives. According to (Kanten, 2012), pg.15 paragraph (2), “Children are more likely to engage in a communication and disclose information online than if they are in face to face conversation”. Young adults and teens today are using some type of social media to stay connected all around the world. As some may think that social media is taking over of the way people interact and communicate with others. The power of technology has allowed teens and young adults to be attached to social media more than ever which is causing distraction amongst the children today.
This has led them to spend more time browsing the internet such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat just to stay up-to-date of what is happening in the society. Meanwhile, some parents may see it as a concern for our teens and young adults because it can cause more harm than good. Teens today don’t realize what kind of problems may occur while on social media by posting and sharing information if it gets into the wrong hands.
Social media is corrupting the children mind and destroying families.
