He is very greedy, and extremely values in building and controlling his wealth, and because of his value he tends to treat others horribly. An example of this would be “Scrooge had a very small fire, but the clerk’s fire was so very much smaller that it looked like one coal. Now in the Victorian society, the comparison between Scrooge in terms of values, behaviors, and worldviews, are going to be related to the upper class and how that wealth is their number one priority. Another aspect would be the idea of christmas, which to Scrooge beliefs is only to be gaining popularity, and to Victorian society they would gain popularity in England.
