Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi more commonly known as ‘Mahatma’ was born in Porbandar, Gujarat in North West India, on 2nd October 1869, into a Hindu Modh family. His father Karamchand Gandhi was the chief minister of Porbandar and his mother Putlibai Gandhi religious devotion meant that his upbringing was infused with the jain pacifist teachings of mutual tolerance non-injury to living beings and vegetarianism. As a child Gandhi was a very naughty and mischievous kid. He lived with his family in his childhood life. A nine years old Gandhi was enrolled at a local school in Rajkot where he studied the basic of Arithmetic, History, Geography and languages.
Later Arts college Gandhi went in London for more education. The UCL faculty of laws is the law school of University college London. Gandhi start a law practice in Bomby.
Gandhi goes to South Africa to work for a Muslim Indian law firm. At the age of 13 Gandhi marries 14 years old Kasturbai Makhanji. He has four son ; Harilal Gandhi, Devdas Gandhi, Manilal Gandhi and Ramdas Gandhi.
They were also live with Gandhi’s family. He was the leader of the Indian independence movement against British rule. Gandhi led India to independence and inspired movements for civil rights and freedom across the world. In India he is also called Bapuji and Gandhiji.
He is unofficially called Father of the nation. Gandhi was famous for many thing that are still amazing to people. He was famous for being a man that made a difference in the life of a whole country.
He was most famous for organizing Natal Indian congress. Gandhi was the primary leader of India’s independence movement and also the architect of a form of nonviolent civil disobedience that would influence the world. Nathuram was killed gandhi. Nathuram was right wing advocate of Hindu nationalism who assassinated Mahatma Gandhi, shooting him in the chest three times at point blank range in New Delhi on 30 January 1948. I am proud of Mahatma Gandhi because he worked for his country. He fought for his country and their country’s people. He also tried to clean his country. I think he always saved water. He always said “Happiness is when wh.at you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.”
