John F. Kennedy was born in Brookline, Massachusetts to Joseph P.
Kennedy Sr. and Rose Kennedy. He went and graduated from Harvard university. Growing up john had eight brothers and sisters.
John was elected in 1960 as the president of the united stated. Kennedy was senate of Massachusetts from 1953 to 1960. He got more votes than the opposing person by over 70,000 votes. He was elected a second time in 1958 but then took the president seat in 1960.In the 1960 election Kennedy was a democrat.
In the final two runners of the election Kennedy won by point two percent of people who voted. That is 302 people. Kenedy traveled many places as president even Iraq. In Ireland Kenedy accepted a grant of armorial bearings.
John F. Kennedy was in office 1961-1963 one of his most famous quotes is “Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country.” JFK made a speech about the berlin wall war or the cold war and it is his most famous speech of all. On October 14, 1962, CIA spy planes took photographs of intermediate-range ballistic missile sites being built in Cuba by the Soviets.
The photos were shown to Kennedy on October 16; a consensus was reached that the missiles were offensive in nature and thus posed an immediate nuclear threat. Mr. Kennedy did resolve this.In conclusion it’s a shame that John F.
Kennedy assassinated. He was a great president and an even better overall person. John F.
Kennedy will lay peacefully in our hearts.
