In addition to homeschooling there is another section called unschooling.Unschooling students learn by having life experiences along with chores, nature,books, travel, family members, social interactions, etc…
Unschooling encouragesself-discovery and expression, they believe the worldlier the learning is themore beneficial and purposeful it is to the child. The main reasoning behind unschoolingis the concept that children are natural learners and should explore their interestsrather than be confined to learn certain subjects. An example of unschooling wouldbe a child going outside and collecting leaves then using those leaves to learnaddition or subtraction by adding leaves and taking away leaves.
Public schools allow access to an education for every childin a community. Legally public schools are not able to turn children away basedon income, disability, or academic performance. If your child has disabilities,they either accommodate at the school or find another school that will fulfill yourchild needs.
This creates an equal educational opportunity for all students nomatter their financial or personal situations. Public schools provide you with diversityamong students because they allow everyone in the community to attend. Thisexposes children to different cultures and ethnicities as well as students whohave similar or opposite learning styles from theirs. They may learn to workwith others who have mental and/or physical disabilities which will help themin the workforce later as well. Public schools offer advanced classes and specializedcourses in subjects like technology and the arts, according to Education Bug. In which parents or a hired tutor, teach their child at homeinstead of sending them to a public or private school. Parents will decide onwhich curriculum to use and which subjects their child will take. A child’seducation can be customized in a multitude of ways to fit his or her learningstyle, interests, and level. The quality of education received depends on thecompetence of the parent.
At some point in the last two decades, homeschoolinghas become increasingly common as an applicable alternative to school.
