Senior High School is two years of specialized uppersecondary education (Official Gaze, 2012) SHS is a preparation for a collegelevel to explore and plan for their postsecondary career options whereas thereare some factors that can affect and change the views of your perception insetting goals. Students may choose their specialization based on their skillsand intellect capacity this would help the students to ensure and get into theright career provide as a stepping stone toward in deciding their chosencareer. Moreover, this is one of the objectives of the Department of Educationto promote the students educational success and qualify the adequacy skillsthat are needed to the workforce of companies and institutions.Thisstudy aims to determine the factors that affect the career preferences of theselect students in Valencia National High School.
