Commonwealth Business Forum (CBF) is an essential part of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM). It will attended by 5,000 top leaders from business, politics, academia and culture.First of all, the aim of Commonwealth Business Forum (CBF) to build stronger partnerships to establish that the Commonwealth plays its role in developing sustainable around the globe. The objective of Commonwealth Business Forum (CBF) is to trade and investment leadership with Government to solve the issues that the country is facing.
It is also to maintain the relationship between the private sector and Government. Commonwealth Business Forum (CBF) is to achieve Goals 8 that are decent work and economic growth. Besides that, Malaysia is propose to the idea of a multi-lateral Free Trade Agreement between 52 Commonwealth nations, said by Second Minister of International Trade and Industry Datuk Seri Ong Ka Chuan. He said that such an agreement was proposed by the commonwealth nations who were looking to form a new trade platform, after Britain decided to withdraw from the European Union. The Commonwealth countries are talk about trade facilitation, but for the combination that will not take place anytime in recently because there are some challenges as some of the Commonwealth countries are less developed nations.
