They indicate how an individual; Energizes (Extroversion v.Introversion), Perceives information (Sensing v. Intuition), Makes decisions(Thinking v. Feeling) and Lives his life (Judging v. Perceiving). Splaver(1977) said “personality” plays an important role in the choosing of the rightcareer. Opportunity is the third factor that has shaped career choices forstudents. Opportunity may influence how students have perceived their future interms of the reasonable probability of a future in particular career fields.
(Thout, 1969) According to Jones, these are some aspects that youneed to consider yourself of what kind of career opportunities you are lookingfor. These are the opportunities you need to design either to enter or changean occupation or field that gives you a better future. Careersare determined by an interaction between our personality and they search forenvironments that will let them use their skills and abilities, and expresstheir attitudes and values, while taking on enjoyable problems and roles. The fourth factors are Childhood Fantasies ofwhat do you want to be when you grow-up it helped to shape on how you thoughtabout careers then, as well as later in life. How students have seen themselvesin a role in which personality is a determining factor may influence a chosencareer.
Splaver (1977) said “personality” plays a decisive role in the choosingof the right career. If you trying to decide what career to pursue, then youshould find out what your personality type is.
