This method was built depended on multiplying the expected

population number for the specific year by the average generation rate of municipality

solid waste for the last eight years (GRWA) from 2009 to 2016 as a fixed value.

The average municipality solid waste generated was determined through dividing the

average quantity of municipality solid waste (Qs) for years 2009-2016 by the

average population (P) for years (2009-2016) of Sulaymaniyah city using Eq.

(3.8):

Eq. (3.10) was used to determine the quantity of solid waste

produced for year 2032. Using an average of generation rate of waste for the

years 2009-2016 then:

The cumulative quantity of municipality solid waste generated by 2032 can be determined,

as shown in Eq. (3.11):

solid waste in 2031 Qs(nt-1) form the year 2016.
