Social Media in Education
As a result, social media has reform communication and even we cooperate day to day. It has become our style of living. It makes our life efficiency than last era. As we know that social media plays an important role in every student’s daily life. However, the actual question is “Can it really be useful in education towards students?” In my own point of view, yes, it can be very useful in education because it is no more a fad but it has become a necessity in this digital platform. Most of the social media is talking about collaborating, networking, sharing knowledge so that it can integrate the collective of the knowledge of an entire class to make our studying and communicating more powerful to each other for every student. For example, the platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter are used by almost everyone. Moreover, it is easier and convenient to approach message, and communicate via sound media at all time. Having said that, the rapid rise of social media provides numerous possibilities for education institution to adopt it to further our learning and teaching procedures.

According to Danah and Nicole, I have made up here again just for illustration purposes an exact quotes that they directly said that in the following years, they are many social websites were developed such as Facebook (2004), Youtube (2005) and Twitter (2003). Most of the business are using social websites to build a relationship with their employees, customers, and even suppliers.
More than that, social media can be effect people from the others side. It is plays important roles in education. With the changing of this times, it is therefore necessary to study the nature of education having factored social media.

Research Objectives/Problem Statement
Rapid, intensive and ever-evolving, the mathematical era has transformed the way we communicate unlike any era before. In the research, social media has become the younger generation’s primary means of interacting with the global. It seems to me that higher education and research go hand-in-hand. For all that, social media has provided universities or colleges to share their future forward innovations and research opportunities with a much vast range than ever before. Social media can be an excellent tools for us to connect with associate and professionals such as the new world of social networking that allows free sharing of ideas and thoughts. Online social networks are also created by websites such as Facebook, which has emerged in global. In this study, the sub-questions below will be answered. These questions are;

Literature Review
According to Chen ; Bryer (2012), “Confidentially and privacy are very big issues within social media because of issues such as posting personal information online” Therefore, the biggest collapse of social media being cover into education is the security and privacy issues that come along with it. As far as I am concerned, teachers should take more responsibility to educate their students about the security and privacy issues of posting personal information online. However, identities also need to be protected. If they do not followed, social media has the potential to be a huge liability in learning, and risk being taken away from school systems. In the other hand, teachers and students could be connected one another and make good usage of these platform for the working of our education.
This research is an expressive study and relational of scanning model to use for examining this assignment.

Results from my research that social media users share among themselves day in and day out, giving and receiving information at rapid speeds. This information is more than funny cats video, they share about views, opinions and even DIY projects among students. It is very useful through their learning experience. At the same time, social networks websites become influential factors in how student communicate. Social networks provide them the freedom to do whatever they want and needs. The most important things in a student’s life are studying, learning good habits and gaining knowledge to become a great person with moral character. Nevertheless, getting too involved in social media can lead to an addition drill bad habits.

The variety of platforms allows for a wide range of uses and attract users in a different of ways. Hence, currently Facebook is popular for each student. Users can make friends and follow others they know or like and keep up with the events going on in their lives. In addition, Instagram is a platform where people puts include a pictures or video. Instagram makes it easy to determine new photos, new people, and new businesses through Hashtags. However, snapchat grants users to communicate with friends or other foreigner through pictures and videos that can see once or twice and these go away forever. Each platform has its own unique interface, but they are all similar in being a public online space for users to connect and stay in touch.

Data collection method/Instrument
The survey method was used in this study. A questionnaire with ten questions was used to gather data. Five questions were drawn from an instrument created by Elizabeth Yap (2018) for a study on the use of social media by university students. The questionnaire was created using Google form and the survey was conducted via social networking.

The respondents consisted 30 of students enrolled in a business program in a Malaysian private university. They were selected based on their age and the program they were recruited in.
Research procedure
The topic of the study was finalized by 22 April 2018. After that, the questionnaire was created and the survey went live from 25 to 30 April 2018. The data collected was tabulated and analysis on 1 May 2018. Finally, the research report was completed on 5 May 2018.

9448801051560A ten-question survey was used to collect data to answer the research questions. The results of the survey are thirty people presented below. Three of the survey questions provide answers to the first research question.

Result from the survey, Figure 1 displays the comparison of the percentage of users in six age groups. The users in the 19 to 20 age group form the highest percentage. Likewise, the lowest percentage of users is 21 to 22 age group.

5181600From the bar chart, it is clear that majority of participants prefer to uses the social network that are using such as Facebook, Instagram and Youtube, and Snapchat. (50.00%) Furthermore, there are at least Twitter, Pinterest and others featured within responses in Figure 2.

As figure 3 shows us, this pie chart illustrate the proportion that almost every student spend their times on social networking. 37 percent spent at 3 hours and above on social networking websites in a typical day. The majority of students
(77 percent) spent at least one hours and above on social networking in a typical day during our survey. 23 percent that they spent less than 1 hours in a typical day on them.

Summary of findings
The research questions of this study have been clearly answered based on the results of the study. Firstly, it is confirmed that social media in education of the benefits university students in their preparation for examinations and also in their coursework. Moreover, education thrives on a healthy community, and a college’s social media presence is an important extension of that community. Throughout the world, universities and colleges are implementing social media strategies to connect with students, parents, prospects, staff, and even other education facilities.

Based on the results of this study, it is supported that the institution appliance the use of social media in education, so that students will be well-supported in their coursework and their exam preparation.
In addition, the researcher has recommendations for further research. The study was handled on a small group of 30 respondents from a single institution. Study can be imitated with a bigger sample to confirm the results of the study. Besides the sample size, the study should cover different institutions of higher learning within the country.
